“Well used hotel”

“Got the information needed in plenty of time prior to arrival. Bedroom & bath were clean. Be sure to take own body soap/gel, shampoo & conditioner. Kitchen well supplied with coffee, tea & snacks. Convenient location to downtown Paris. Thankfully a place that doesn’t allow pets!”

“We had a great time with the family.”

“There was a heavy buildup of soap scum on the shower as well as mold on the shower grout. The bathroom mirror looked dirty. There was food from the previous tenant on the floor. There was also an empty drink bottle and lots of dust under the bed. The floors were not as clean as they should have been. There was paint peeling in the hall from the ceiling as well as many scuff marks on the walls inside the room. The exterior of the building looked as though it was rotting away in many spots. The...

“Every detail of the home was wonderful. The mansion was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable while still preserving its remarkable history and character. It truly felt like stepping back in time without sacrificing modern comforts.Whether you're a history enthusiast, a genealogy researcher, or simply looking for a unique place to stay, we highly recommend the Governor James Garrard Mansion. It was an experience we'll treasure for years to come, and we hope to return...

“This property is an older home remodeled. the showers are only for SMALL people. they use horrible smelling air freshners. it took 2 days to get the chemical smell out. And the lights in the bathroom went out after the first day. The price on this home is way to high for the property. But on a good note, the fenced in back yard is huge. the dogs loved it. but the next door neighbor has aggressive pit bulls who go nuts at the fence when they are out. . And after letting the owner know about the...

“Absolutely beautiful accommodations and property. Loved feeding the donkeys!!! They were soooooo sweet! Close to town yet in the "country". Owners were communicative and very hospitable. LOVED our stay!”

“FIVE STAR ACROSS THE BOARD”

“As always, this place was perfect! Coffee on the back porch watching the horses. Wine on the back porch...watching the horses. We will be back next year!”

“Beautiful, peaceful, and spotless horse farm—just as described! We loved walking the grounds and visiting the gorgeous horses. Great location near restaurants, a convenience store, and Keeneland. The perfect place to relax after sightseeing, especially if you love animals. We’d definitely stay again!”

“This is the cutest place to stay in a very welcoming community. Loved how the town was all decorated for fall and Halloween.”
